This Teacher Contract (hereinafter referred to as “Contract”) is effective from Effective Date (hereinafter referred to as “Effective Date”),
By and Between
Teacher Name (hereinafter referred to as “Teacher”), a citizen of Country/State Name with their address at Teacher Address, and;
School Name (hereinafter referred to as “School”), an institution established at School Address.
The Teacher and the School are collectively referred to as “Parties,” and individually as “Party.”
WHEREAS, the School desires to employ the Teacher for teaching Teaching Course/Subject at the School and believes the Teacher has the necessary qualifications and skills to perform their duties and responsibilities;
AND WHEREAS, the Teacher accepts the School's offer under the terms and conditions of the Contract herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the terms and conditions set forth below and other good and valuable considerations, both Parties hereby agree as follows:
The Teacher shall start working from Commencement Date (hereinafter referred to as “Commencement Date”) as a Type of Employee employee and shall continue for Employment Term in Years year(s).
(a) The Teacher shall execute their duties and responsibilities in good faith and due diligence. They shall perform their duties as per the School's policies and the teacher's code of conduct.
(b) The Teacher shall teach students to the best of their abilities and within the guidelines put forth by the School.
(c) The Teacher agrees to maintain records of their students' attendance, progress, and academic performance.
(d) Other duties and responsibilities of the Teacher.
The Teacher shall provide their services for Working Days Per Week day(s) per week, from School Start Time to School End Time.
The Teacher shall receive a monthly salary of Salary Amount, to be paid on Salary Payment Day day of every month.
The Teacher shall be entitled to all the benefits and incentives provided by the School during the term of employment. The benefits are further described in Exhibit A.
The list of all holidays is attached to this Contract in Exhibit B. The Teacher shall also be notified of these holidays by the School's Principal from time to time.
The Teacher should take the Principal’s approval in advance to avail leave, except in cases of a personal and medical emergency.
The School shall provide the Teacher with all the textbooks and other materials necessary for teaching the subject.
The Teacher's performance shall be evaluated by their Supervisor every Teacher’s Performance Evaluation Period in Months month(s).
The Teacher understands that during their employment with the School, they may be exposed to the School's confidential information. The Teacher agrees to hold all proprietary and confidential information in complete confidence during the term of this Contract and after the termination of this Contract.
Either Party can terminate this Contract upon Termination Notice Period in Days day(s) prior written notice to the other Party, with or without cause.
This Contract shall be governed following the laws of the Governing Law.
Neither Party shall assign this Contract or the rights and obligations thereunder to any third party without the prior express written consent of the other Party, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Neither Party can waive any provision of this Contract or any rights or obligations under this Contract unless agreed to in writing by the Parties.
If any term, clause, or provision hereof is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, all other terms will remain in full force and effect until the Contract termination.
This Contract may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be deemed original and all of which together shall constitute one and the same.
The Parties acknowledge that this Contract sets forth and represents the entire contract between both Parties. If the Parties are willing to change/add/modify any terms, they shall be in writing and signed by both Parties.
Any notice required by this Contract shall be in writing and given to the appropriate Party by personal delivery, certified mail, prepaid postage, or any such agreed-upon delivery service.
Neither of the Parties shall be liable for any failure in performance of any obligation under this Contract due to causes beyond that Party's reasonable control (including and not limited to any pandemic, fire, strike, act, or order of public authority and other acts of God) during the pendency of such event.
